Shambhala Meditation Half-Day Retreat*

April 29 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

* pre-registered adult small group

“…Meditation practice awakens our trust that the wisdom and compassion that we need are already within us. Meditation is like the golden key that helps us know ourselves: our rough parts and our smooth parts, our passion, aggression, ignorance and wisdom.” -Pema Chodron, Shambhala Buddhist Monastic
It is the Shambhala view that every human being has a fundamental nature of goodness, warmth, and intelligence. This nature can be cultivated through meditation and can be further developed in daily life so that it radiates out to family, friends, community, and society. Join us for a beautiful half-day experience of seated and walking meditation, contemplation, yoga, and the practice of noble silence. Please bring a brown bag lunch. Dr. Jan Snyder and Nora Wiser have both been practicing in the Shambhala tradition since 2007 and are trained Shambhala instructors.
