Our 60th Anniversary festivities begin this August. With opportunities for fun, fellowship, service and celebration throughout the Fall, we look forward to gathering in honor of this milestone.
Please note the following dates:
August 17 – Join us for a potluck breakfast in honor of one of our founding members, Bob Atkins, whose son John will offer a reading on what would have been Bob’s 100th Birthday! Stay after the service for an opportunity to “gift” your time and talent to one of our boards and committees in the coming year.
August 24 – UCG will host our annual Gathering of the Waters Service, followed by an afternoon social at one of our favorite watering holes, Cypress and Grove!
Additional festivities, including service projects and guest speakers, will be announced as our series of events is finalized.
Calling All Artists- We Need Your Help!
As we approach our 60th Anniversary, we invite our talented congregants of all ages to please submit commemorative logo ideas in a logo contest! Please submit your original designs digitally to tamih@ucgainesville.org by Sunday, August 10. A $60 gift card to Lynx Books will be awarded to the design that is chosen.
