Applications for UCG Minister Being Accepted by UCC
Good news! The Search Committee has submitted our church profile to Rev. LaTrell Harrison, the UCC Florida Conference Minister for Search and Call, Congregational Care and it was posted on the national UCC website on Friday, April 10th. Next, interested candidates will submit their ministerial profiles to Rev. Harrison who will forward them to the Search Committee for consideration. It was a group effort; however, we appreciate Meaghan Bonnaghan who was instrumental in writing, compiling and designing the final product.
The committee has developed a rubric based on the feedback we have received from the congregation including the chalk-talk, listening sessions, seminar, lunch groups and board and committee meetings as well as input from Talia and Donna. The rubric will be used to review candidate profiles and for subsequent interviews.
According to our initial timeline, we are on track to receive and start looking at profiles between now and August.
