September 20: Rev. Daniel Webster, “Reading the Bible and Fusion of Horizons” – This will be a simple presentation/discussion of Bible interpretation (hermeneutics) launching from the parable of the Good Samaritan based on the writings of Fr. Rich Vitale.

September 27: Mark Burlingame, “Mindfulness Meditation: Touching Life Deeply is Touching God” – Thich Nhat Hanh taught “God can be touched in our breath and our step.” Together we will explore using meditation practice to help us “look deeply” and help discover our true nature; and to cultivate our own peace, joy, and happiness. Mark will share some of his experiences and the transformative power of meditation practice and also some of his favorite questions he carries with him in daily life.
