The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, February 14, and continues for forty days and six Sundays—a time of preparation that recalls the period of testing Jesus spent in the wilderness. We have the gift of these forty days to reflect and focus on our spiritual journeys. Lent is a pilgrimage that offers us opportunities to refresh, re-create, and to remind ourselves of who we are as spirit beings. We will explore the shadows along the Lenten journey, uncovering what we need, being present to what we can see, and working to be available to what waits in the beyond times. Be here on Ash Wednesday for a special service of silence, labyrinth, ashes, music, and communion. Ash Wednesday Services: February 14, noon and 7:00 PM.
