Emliy Anderton attended the Methodist church as a child. She joins UCG seeking a supportive community and likes the acknowledgment that none of us have all the and answers and acceptance of diverse viewpoints she finds here. Glenn Terry grew up in the Methodist Church and attended he UCC in Coral Gables before moving here two years ago. He has been visiting UCG since he arrived and fits right into our church’s stance on social issues. Glenn looks forward to assisting UCG’s social outreach programs and community-enhancing initiatives. Glenn is a retired attorney, art educator and ran Miami’s King Mango Strut parade for thirty years. He enjoys art, softball, cycling, and ping pong. He and his wife, Francesca, have four grown children who live in Gainesville, South Florida and Colorado.
Having been on a personal spiritual path for most of her life, Jennifer Pritchett has long been aware of UCG. The UCG congregation contains many of her friends and family, including her cousin Nel Gammon-Webster. Now that Jennifer finally has the practice she has dreamed of as a professional therapist in her own small community of Melrose, and no longer driving daily to and from Gainesville she feels more free to drive into ‘town’ on Sundays. She has always said if she ever drove in for church on Sundays it would be the United Church of Gainesville.
