10/23  – Gender-affirming Care for All God’s Children – Misinformation abounds when it comes to what gender-affirming care is and especially how it applies to minors. Plus, transgender issues are being weaponized politically, and such rhetoric creates more confusion and hostility around gender identities. Here we provide a safe space to explore the topic of medical care for transgender children and adults and to learn from experts about best practices. What is recommended, and at what ages? Learn about the importance of teams of clinicians and about relevant resources in the Gainesville community. Ask questions and gain some clarity about this contentious topic. Pray for greater understanding in our community and beyond.

10/30 –  Faith as a Journey (Not a Destination) – Take a “road trip” through the New Testament with UCG member Daniel Webster, as he examines how Biblical journeys can serve as archetypes for moving us deeper into faith and understanding. What is your faith journey and how does it vary from those whose experiences differ greatly from your own?
