It’s no surprise that UCG on Sunday mornings is quite an animated place. We’re glad to see each other. There’s a lot to talk about, and we keep talking until the minister of the day calls us to worship. And that’s fine.
There are also times when you might want some quiet time, before or after the service.
Around the corner from Seminar A, on the North side of the Sanctuary, there is a gate. Inside the gate is the “Spiritual Garden” and the Chapel. Each is designated as a place of quiet and reflection. If you’re there, no one is supposed to ask “How ya doin’?” It’s a place where we honor the quiet in our ourselves and each other. It’s a place if sacred silence.
If you need some quiet on Sunday morning, wander over to the Chapel. It’s there for you.
