Board of Business November Newsletter Report

The Board of Business spent much of September and early October working on the 2023 Challenge Budget that will be presented at the Fall Congregational Meeting on October 16, 2022.

We are happy to report that the roofing work on the West Campus has just been completed, after waiting for a five-day window without rain for the work to be finished. And we are really happy to report that the loan from the Cornerstone Foundation will be funded soon. We requested and received approval for a $99,000 loan with a 30-year amortization at the Spring Congregational Meeting. The monthly payment for the loan is $444.55. The loan was approved by Cornerstone in August, and we have received and approved the final documents for the loan. Cornerstone has now received all required documentation and closing is expected to occur in the next few weeks.

On a more somber note, pledge income over the last two months has fallen short of the budgeted amount, but expenses have not. If you have not done so, please review your records, and if you have missed a month, please send your contribution to the church in order to catch up.
