Facility Rental at the United Church of Gainesville Rental Information

The United Church of Gainesville has several spaces available to accommodate various types of meetings and events.  Please see the information below regarding guidelines and a description of each space. Rentals are based on an hourly charge and pricing varies per room.

Reimer Hall

Our Fellowship Hall is 1650 square feet (33ft x 50ft) and has a maximum capacity of 230 people. The room is equipped with a 90 inch flat screen tv with an HDMI cord for media and is smart phone compatible for casting.

If food and beverages will be offered during your event, there is an additional $50 flat fee.

West Wing

The West Wing is 1147 square feet (31ft x 37ft) and has a maximum capacity of 169 people. The room is equipped with a 75 inch flat screen tv with an HDMI cord for media and is smart phone compatible for casting.

If food and beverages will be offered during your event, there is an additional $50 flat fee.

Fellowship Hall and West Wing Combined

The Fellowship Hall and the West Wing are divided by an acoustical wall, which can be folded back to open the space into one large L-shaped room. Between the two rooms there are 180 folding chairs, 10 six-foot plastic tables, 4 eight-foot plastic tables and 15 six-foot wooden-topped tables available for use.

If food and beverages will be offered during your event, there is an additional $50 flat fee.

Kitchen

We have a large kitchen which has a meeting area divided from the cooking area.  The meeting area is 396 square feet (22ft x 18ft) and can comfortably sit 15-20 people.  Six foot plastic tables and folding chairs are available for use.  The cooking area of the kitchen can also be used, but please be aware that it is not certified for commercial use.

Youth Room

Upstairs from our kitchen is our newly renovated Youth Room, which has approximately 644 square feet of meeting space (28ft x 23ft).  The space has two large sectional sofas, 10-12 folding chairs, two small plastic tables and a small kitchen area with a sink. This room is located upstairs.

Seminar A or Seminar B

Our two Seminar rooms offer a nice space for smaller groups and meetings.  Each room is 256 square feet (16ft x 16ft) and can comfortably sit up to 20 people.  Each room has six foot plastic tables and 20-25 folding chairs available for use.

Room 9

This room is part of our church school wing.  It is 425 square feet (25ft x 17ft) and can comfortably sit up to 30 people.  Six foot plastic tables and 20 stacking chairs are available for use. This space was renovated in the fall of 2021.

Sanctuary and Chapel

In order to reduce the wear and tear on our worship space, we do not rent our Sanctuary or our Chapel.

Weddings

Weddings are held in our facilities for UCG members and their immediate families only. A UCG minister must officiate.

Custodial Charges

Events taking place Monday-Thursday will be charged a $25-$150 custodial fee depending on size of group.

Events taking place Friday or Saturday require use of an outside custodial service and the charge can range from $75-$150, depending on the amount of clean-up required to prepare the space for Sunday.
