Hello all!
We can feel that summer sizzle already in the late mornings to the afternoons. This hopefully means our newly scrubbed solar panels will be ready to receive the sun’s ray as the days stretch longer and the nights feel warmer. Thank goodness for air conditioning and ice machines. Speaking of air conditioning, we are due to replace both Sanctuary units this summer. Please have patience with our current units and when the install finally comes to fruition.
As you have read in the newsletter, a new group has formed called Space Cadets. They will embark on a journey to clean and organize the different closet spaces around our campus. I look forward to working with them and seeing their stellar space saving strategies. If you are called to help, please contact Phoebe Papadi.
Another way to help our campus on the inside and out is to report any damages, misuse, or concerns to me directly. Here are the ways you can get a message about our buildings and grounds.
- Leave me a note in my mailbox. It’s in the first column of boxes in the UCG office workroom.
- Use the clipboard hanging on my office door on Sundays or if you are here after office hours.
