During the month of March, Jill White, a team member of the UCC’s Church Building and Loan Fund, conducted 36 interviews with members of UCG, as part of a feasibility study, an important step in planning for a possible capital campaign. White asked questions about the participants’ sense of UCG’s strengths, about their understanding of the goals of a potential campaign, and if they felt they were likely to participate in the campaign. The Capital Campaign committee will meet for an in depth discussion on the report and offer an update soon, but for now, thank you to all those who participated: to the interviewees, to Shanna Swiers for getting all those interviews scheduled, to Tim Martin for his leadership, and to all those who contributed to the cost of the study.
