Dear friends,
In March, a UCC consultant interviewed a sample of UCG congregants to better understand the congregation’s readiness for a capital campaign. In short, the consultant determined that our estimated “probability of success” was 62%, which she characterized as “typical” for churches preparing for capital campaigns. The study identified a number of areas where additional communication and clarification would be helpful for better preparing the church for a successful campaign.
Please follow the link below to see the document which summarizes the results from the study. Also please try to join members of the Capital Campaign Visioning committee at the after-church seminar on May 12, where we will summarize the feasibility study results, and talk about next steps.

There are a lot of balls up in the air at church right now, and we realize it can be challenging to pay attention to all of them. However, we thought it was important to report back to the congregation regarding the results of this study as quickly as possible. If you ever have any questions about the capital campaign visioning process, don’t hesitate to contact me or any of the committee members.
Faithfully,
Capital Campaign Visioning committee
