We are coming to the end of 10 and a half years of Food for Kids. It has been challenging in so many ways but with your loving support and generosity we have been about feed children weekly in 108 families including digital students. 

A team of over 20 volunteers were able to fill 164 bags every week at UCG and transport them to Rawlings Elementary School. Our plan is to continue during summer school and then be ready to start again in the fall. 

Thank you for all you have done to help to make this program a success. A student said that she knew why we were sending home bags of food, “Because it feels good in your heart.” 

There has never been a waiting list for a child who wanted to be in UCG’s program and I know that feels good in your heart.
