The ONA Committee invites anyone who is called to do so to join in Equality Florida’s Virtual Lobby Days.  This year, we have the chance to not only undo the harm caused in the last several years, but also to pass historic federal legislation protecting our community from anti-LGBTQ discrimination.

To do so, we are gearing up for the 2021 Florida Legislative Session. Last year, Equality Florida’s statewide LGBTQ nondiscrimination bill was the MOST co-sponsored bill. But the bill was blocked from being heard or voted on by lawmakers. We need your help to keep the pressure on our elected officials and remind them constituents – like YOU – will hold them accountable. By joining the virtual Lobby Days team, you’ll have a chance to speak directly with your state legislators about the need for LGBTQ protections and other issues important to our community.
