August 6 – The Vinery; the UCG connection with UF and Santa Fe — UCG has been part of the inaugural cohort of the Vinery, a national program designed to provide resources and support to congregations in close proximity to colleges and universities. Our UCG lead team has spent more than 18 months learning, building relationships, and listening to some of the needs of students, staff and faculty at UF and Santa Fe. Join us on August 6 for a seminar describing our journey so far and inviting your participation as we imagine next steps.

August 13 – No seminar — Time and Talent

August 20 – Final Transitions Team Seminar – Join the transition team as we continue the conversation about UCG’s core principles and future path. This will build on prior seminars, surveys, and other conversations; you are welcome whether you have attended prior discussions or not. Let your voice be heard and hear what others have to say.

August 27 – Dreams and Aspirations – The dreams and aspirations of a community play a crucial role in shaping the future of that community. At this seminar we’ll take a look at the dreams and aspirations expressed by members of the United Church of Gainesville through our chalk talk earlier this year. By examining these dreams, we hope to gain an understanding of our values, priorities, and vision for the future. Bill Zegel, from the Capital Campaign Committee, will facilitate.
