The UCG Supper Club will resume on Saturday, May 21 at 6:30 with our usual end-of-the-year barbecue at Jim White and Lisa McElwee-White’s house out on Kanapaha Prairie. This will be an outdoor event but since we will be eating and drinking it will be unmasked. Jim will be preparing pulled pork in his smoker and we will have potluck appetizers, sides, salads and desserts although we will assign categories so that we have a reasonable balance in each category. You do not need to save your receipts as we will only be sharing the cost of the pork and the wine, tea and water as we assume everyone spends around the same amount on the item they bring. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, May 15. We are also looking for 3-4 volunteers to assist with loading the UCG chairs and tables into Jim’s truck and then to set up at his house. We will meet at UCG at 5 to load and then drive to Jim and Lisa’s to set up so that we are ready by 6:30 when the rest of the participants arrive.
