Surrounding our Friends with Love: A message from Rev. Catherine Dearlove

Hi everyone,

As we come up to the week anniversary of the murder at Squirrel Hill there are many of us who would like to support our Jewish friends. As part of my work as campus multi faith cooperative chair at UF, with the students we are going to surround Chabad with a circle of love on Friday night for their combined service with Hillel. I wonder if your faith communities would join us in surrounding our other synagogues with love for the Shabbat services? I believe this would be a way that we can show the community that we are truly with them and protecting them with love while they worship. While we cannot maintain this on an ongoing basis, for this week especially it would speak out a message of love.
