Hello Families!
We have enjoyed reuniting with some of our Tribes children! If you are considering joining us in person soon we hope to answer your questions here in one place.
When we have United Tribes, it will be provided from fifteen minutes before each service to five minutes after each service, so 8:45-9:45am and 10:45-11:45am depending on which service you register your child for.
Children MUST be pre-registered for each session they are going to attend. Use the registration in the Tuesday E-Vents email to do this. You will be asked to commit to whether your child is attending church with you or Tribes with us. Basic safety questions are asked in that registration as well.
To bring registered children to Tribes, an adult must walk with them to the playground entrance that is connected to our West parking lot and physically check them in with our childcare aide. All children are required to wear masks for the entire time they are in our care. Care will be provided outdoors when there is no rain. If there is rain we will move into our classrooms, with windows and doors open for ventilation.
Each week we provide a story, scripture, prayer, and play time. We will not be providing any foods or beverages. Please make sure children are prepared for that in advance. Also, our water fountain will be closed. Children may bring a labeled water bottle with them. Hands will be sanitized as children enter the playground area.
Please make sure that your child does not have any of the following symptoms for at least 72 hours prior to attending our care, without any medication:
- Fever of 100.4 or higher
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Chills
- Loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Muscle aches
- Any other symptoms identified by the CDC as associated with Covid-19
When in doubt please use an abundance of caution during this public health emergency. If your children become sick within 7 days of attending UCG, please notify the front office immediately.
Please note: Childcare for those younger than kindergarten is in the works! We are working to retrain, hire, re-certify, and vaccinate as many aides as possible. We expect to resume nursery childcare mid-June and will post all details in our June newsletter. We can’t wait to see adorable faces!
Until we are together, be well!
Blessings,
Keri Trosper & The Children’s Ministry Team
