Our Fifth Annual UCG Art Show and Sale this fall sponsored by Lively Arts was a tremendous success! We are grateful to the following artists and participants; Julie Anspach, Connie Caldwell, Vicki Davis, Barb Gibbs, Malika Green, Susan James, Dan Kershner, Mary Kramek, Jasmine Laska and Andrew Hix, Shirley Lasseter, Judith Mans, Lilliam Pancorbo, Kandy Penney, Kelly Perez, Heidi Stein, Glenn Terry and his wife Francessca, Diana Tonnessen, Uta, Carolyn von Zabern and Katy Yanke!!! Wow! Thanks to everyone who bought our art, baked delicious treats, and for the generosity of the participants who donated $670 for Food4Kids! A special thank you to Shirell Hix, Mark Burlingame and their group who played amazing music for two hours. There are many other people to thank who made signs and set up and put things away (Mary Fukuyama, Glenn Mans, and Robert O’Rourke).
The Variety Show last month was delightful! What a blessing that UCG has so much outstanding talent! Thank you to everyone who shared their gifts with us! Our donation box brought in $240- thank you! Great job, Sue Hartman, Jennifer Pritchett, and all the organizers. We look forward to our next Sunday Variety Show this month.
Our committee also wants to thank Lilliam Pancorbo for the amazing art that she painted and has given to UCG. It represents multi-generations. We are so grateful for this gift!
Lively Arts wants to acknowledge the gift from Keith Berg of this glorious stained glass art which he designed and created for the Sanctuary at UCG. It faces east, and reminds us to be grateful for the gift of each new day!
Lastly, the Lively Arts Concert Series banner was installed and will stay in place to continue advertising the free concert series . It was designed by Oscar Molina with input from Lively Arts Committee. Robert O’Rourke kept the project going forward and we owe him a huge “Thank you.” In addition, he and Mark Burlingame donated funds to pay for the banner. Thank you!
