Seekers of God However Known is a UCG program focused on fostering spiritual growth by exploring a variety of spiritual topics, concepts, practices, and perspectives. Sessions will take place on Sundays from 9 – 9:45 a.m. in Reimer Hall unless otherwise noted. Everyone is welcome.

November 1: Rev. Larry Reimer – “My favorite heretic” How the Celtic monk Pelagius saved Original Blessing from Original Sin and the Roman Church.

November 8: Rev. Sandy Reimer – “Christianity in the Margins – A Celtic Spirituality” As we search for positive spiritual directions, our Celtic heritage has much to offer us in wisdom, in integrity, and in blessing.

November 15: No program. Church on the Prairie.

November 22: Taylor Williams – “Living Our Values” Values serve as a navigation system for our lives. They allow us to live our truth, serve the world, make decisions, explore beliefs, sustain setbacks, and feel like our most authentic self. Using Brené Brown’s values framework, we will discover and explore our top 5 values individually and then discuss in small groups. Come one, come all!

November 29: Rev. Dr. Talia Raymond – “The Theology of Lessons and Carols.” The language of Christmas carols is always a source for conversation and questions: What is a Noel? Why does Satan creep into all these sweet songs about a baby? Talia will lead a discussion about some of our 2026 Lessons and Carols texts. Join us to learn some history, some context, and get a sneak peek at some of our musical pieces for this year’s beloved service.
