The Board of Children Youth and Families has been busy raising funds with football parking to help improve our children’s playground and for other needs, providing input into the children’s program positions, updating the safety and protection policy for minors, and recruiting volunteers for our many activities with families, youth, and children.
We would love all church members to be aware of our safety and protection policy for minors. You can view a copy here: Safety and Protection Policy for Minors. Board members have all committed to completing a volunteer form and background check.
A big Thank You to the adults who are volunteering with children at Church on the Prairie and to Sally Adkins for providing the fun nature-based activities.
The Christmas Craft Fair this year will be December 6 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Reimer Hall. We are looking for volunteers who would like to supervise a provided craft and/or provide a craft of their own. Kathryn Rabb is willing to take donations of art supplies.
